Marijuana Cooking Ideas in Durango, CO

Colorado Grow Company in Durango, Colorado Cooks It Up 3 Ways So You Can Get Your Munch On At Every Meal

Canna Butter

Yield 1 lb. Canna Butter or about 48 servings
(1 serving is equivalent to 2 tsp)

Ingredients

Instructions
Place 1/2 ounce of ground marijuana flower with 1 pound of butter in a pan over very low heat. I prefer Kalona Super Natural brand organic butter because of the high fat content and it is sourced from happy, grass fed cows. Allow the butter and marijuana to continue to cook for 2 to 3 hours. You just want the mixture to slowly infuse. Your butter should not simmer or boil at any time. Strain into a small container – I like to use cheesecloth and a strainer. Then refrigerate until your canna butter is hardened. You can store in your freezer or fridge. Perfect for any favorite recipe that calls for butter. Perfect in baking, spreading on toast or for melting and dipping. Bon appetit!

Add the ground leaves or flower to the oil in a small pan and heat it up. Again, you want to just heat the mixture slowly so that it infuses. No frying or boiling here.
